Business Research on Demand
Bring Arceon a specific commercial question, problem or research requirement. We investigate it and deliver clear findings, traceable evidence and practical recommendations.
Commercial Opportunity Research Brief — US$500 founding price
For businesses asking, “Where are the commercial opportunities we should be paying attention to, and which ones are actually worth pursuing?”
The founding scope covers one tightly defined market and up to five prioritised opportunities or signals. Arceon researches visible projects, organisations, market developments or buying situations that may represent a relevant commercial opportunity, assesses fit with the client’s offer and prioritises where attention may be justified. This is not a purchased contact list or a promise of sales.
Founding Client Pricing is available to the first three suitable paid clients for this product, subject to fit and scope.
What qualifies as an opportunity
Arceon labels an item an opportunity only when reliable public evidence supports all three of the following:
- Existence: a current project, business need, expansion, procurement signal, investment, requirement or other identifiable commercial event exists.
- Relevance: there is a plausible and explainable fit between the signal and the client’s offering, geography, capability and commercial criteria.
- Route to action: a credible next step or publicly verifiable route to market can be identified, even if further qualification is still required.
Items supported by weaker or incomplete evidence are labelled as signals to validate—not confirmed opportunities.
What the brief can include
- A defined search scope, geography, timeframe and opportunity criteria.
- A prioritised shortlist of evidence-backed opportunities or signals.
- For each item: evidence of existence, commercial relevance, client-offer fit and material market or business signals.
- Priority rating, rationale, uncertainties, disqualifiers and evidence gaps.
- Recommended next action and, where reliable, a verified public contact route or route to market.
- Source links, dates checked and confidence labels.
- An executive recommendation on where the client should focus attention first.
What it does not include
- Generic lead scraping, bulk contact lists or unverified databases.
- Guaranteed sales, buyer intent, tender awards, introductions or responses.
- Private, personal, covert or improperly obtained information.
- Sales outreach, appointment setting or proposal writing unless separately agreed.
- Legal, procurement, regulatory or financial advice.
Who it is for
- B2B service firms looking for projects or organisations that fit a defined capability.
- Specialist suppliers, contractors and professional-service businesses entering an adjacent segment or geography.
- Small commercial teams that need independent opportunity scanning but not a full sales-development service.
- Consultancies and advisers needing a researched opportunity shortlist for a client or internal team.
One-off and recurring use
Start with a one-off brief to test the criteria, source quality and commercial usefulness. Where the market produces meaningful new signals and the client acts on them, the work may later become a monthly Opportunity Intelligence Monitor. Recurring work is not recommended until an initial project demonstrates value and a genuine update cadence.
Other Business Research on Demand questions

- Focused comparisons of commercial options.
- Commercial claims that need checking.
- Supplier or sector landscapes.
- Questions that do not fit another productised service.
Other bounded research — from US$400
The minimum scope covers one narrowly defined commercial question, a concise evidence-linked written answer and a source register. Broader questions, additional markets, comparisons, methods or deliverables are quoted after scope review. Coverage and deliverables are agreed before work begins.
