Supplier Discovery & Risk Screen
Identify, compare and screen potential suppliers before committing to samples, inventory or a supply relationship.
Supplier Discovery & Risk Screen — from US$650
The minimum scope covers one product category and up to two intended source markets. Arceon identifies and long-lists 8–12 potential suppliers, compares stated capability and specification fit, checks corporate registration and ownership where publicly recorded, reviews shipment records where publicly available, and flags concentration and transparency risks. Indicative price bands and minimum-order patterns are reported only where verifiable.
What the research can cover
- Identification of potential suppliers from public and commercial sources.
- Comparison of stated capability, product fit and specification coverage.
- Corporate registration, ownership and trading-history checks where publicly recorded.
- Shipment and concentration signals where shipment records are publicly available, with the coverage limit stated.
- Indicative price bands and minimum-order patterns where verifiable.
- Risk flags covering transparency, evidence quality, single-market dependency and verifiability gaps.
What you may receive
- A prioritised supplier long-list with a comparison matrix.
- A source register with direct citations and dates checked.
- Explicit risk flags, disqualifiers and evidence gaps per supplier.
- A shortlist recommendation with reasoning and confidence levels.
- Facts separated from interpretation and assumptions.
- Named checks that only you, or a qualified third party on the ground, can complete.
Important boundary
Arceon’s supplier work is desk-based and evidence-based. It is not a physical or assurance service. Arceon does not:
- conduct factory audits, site visits or physical inspections;
- verify product quality, materials, safety or compliance by testing;
- guarantee that any supplier is legitimate, creditworthy or financially sound;
- guarantee supplier performance, capacity, delivery, pricing or terms;
- negotiate, sample, purchase, inspect or ship on your behalf.
Corporate registration and existence may be evidenced from public records; those records can be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. Shipment records are reviewed only where they are publicly accessible; comprehensive trade data is subscription-based and is not included in this scope. A supplier that passes this screen has not been verified on the ground. Where a decision depends on physical verification, Arceon will say so and recommend an appropriately qualified third party.
What Arceon needs from the client
- The product or category and the specification that matters.
- The intended source market or markets, if known.
- Target volume, price expectation and any compliance requirements.
- Existing suppliers or known options, and what went wrong previously if relevant.
- The decision the screen must support, and the deadline.
Timing
Designed for delivery within 3–5 business days after payment and complete intake, subject to evidence availability in the selected markets. Additional categories or source markets require a separate quote.
Tell us what you need to know
Share the category, the markets you are considering and the decision the screen must support. We will confirm whether a responsible desk-based screen is possible.
Every project starts the same way: you describe the decision, we reply within 1 business day, and we confirm the scope, the fixed fee and the delivery date in writing before any work begins.
